Monday. I got up and headed out to Bond St. I wanted to go to Selfridges and check out the "museum of everything." I also stopped by quite the amount of shops on the way. Primark is like black friday..people everywhere!!! I never wanna go there again!!!! The museum was legit what one reviewer said.."looks like drawings by 3yrs olds" so bad...such a disappointment. I got my hairdye at boots, along with some candy...then headed to Victoria station to pick up my tixs for brighton. Then went to shepards bush for the westfield mall. i got tea!!! Finally picked up the royal blend!!! It's not as good as i expected, but still nice!! A novelty that imma drink away. haha, gilly hicks was at this mall! too bad no sales..so it was lame..they had a hollister too. I also went by waitrose before i left...got some asian salad sauce and aussie shampoo. The mall reminded me of home! kinda, at different points. I got kitkat chunky and senses.

Tuesday. I woke up around 2 because someone was ringing the door bell..but I just was too lazy to get up so i let it ring..then someone came in!! I was like..whaa?? Are my roommates back? so i sat up and just was like waiting for someone to walk into my room..then i see...a man! Carrying a big trashcan..and he's like "oh just dropping this off" and i'm like "oh..okay" *goes back to laying down* Decided I was hungry so got up and made pasta carbonara..it was pretty nice this time, I got the fresh sauce from tesco. Then I was about to just stay in but i pushed myself to go out..so at 3 I headed out to the Imperial War museum. The directions i wrote on my phone from ages ago did not specify which was the ending, well it was all jumbled with directions, but i got there at 4! It closes at 6..so only 2 hours. I managed to go through only the LG and G floor. There like 3 more floors, so will attempt again on Friday. There was this really cool "life" experience where you go to this room and it's like a trench sort of place..and you experience what the soldiers did during battle. It smelled funny and it was really dark and there were these two people who i thought were real...outta the corner of my eye cause i was looking at something else..and when i finally turned..it was a bloody man, and someone holding him up and it was fake so i was kinda creeped out!!! Then i went thru the blitz experience...surprise wars hitler threw and it was really dumb. I didn't understand what was happening and he just kept shining a flashlight on stuff that i couldn't see since i was in the middle. Wasted 20 mins waiting and the only part that was "fun" was when the benches we sat on started shaking. I honestly couldn't tell who was who cause there were so many soldiers and groups..but damn seeing the swastika in life..it's crazy...i saw the pictures of the supporters..omg. so many. I loveee history so this museum was very enjoyable. There's still the vietnam part and all these other i need to see. Then..i was trying to take the national rail to see if it's faster..and i just hopped on the first one i saw since i couldn't find the sign that said where it was going..and it was leaving..and i was on the wrong one..went to some random place..omg. Had to travel back to paddington..wasted an hour of my time..then headed to tesco to buy groceries...again.

October 26

Wednesday. I pulled an all nighter..was very afraid i'd sleep through alarm or it wouldn't go off and I would not get to my train in time..I left the flat at 7...got to Victoria Station at 806am? waited ages...til 836am to get on my train to Brighton to visit Ginny down south! I got there a bit after 930..walked like 10 mins to the town and met up with Ginny..we just walked around and window shopped, sat down for a cappuccino..then went to the pier to take pics and check it out..so windy..and ginny said there were waves and there are NEVER waves! Then we had lunch at the Regency pub I found online which had amazing fish n chips..mm then we got some food for dinner and headed to her University of Sussex and i napped..she napped...then we woke up to make dinner..than just bummed around..then went over to her friend nicole's suite and watch Top Gear Vietnam with some of the people there around 1030pm then visited her good friend laura..whos egyptian so that was cool. It was like a weed room..LOL..then we went back to ginnys around 1, showered, painted nails..then slept...

Thursday. Woke up at 1 a bit before Ginny got back from her class..made lunch...a sandwich ahha, then bummed a bit, she did her laundry then she sent me off on the bus at like 245 since she had an interview at 3..and my train ticket leaves at 349pm..omg, this 15 min bus ride took 30 mins! I got to the town at 225...so i walked to the station and it was like 235...hopped on train, perfect timing! Thank god i left early!! Or i'd miss my train! It was really nice catching up...feels, and probably has been 4 years since we last saw each other!!! I got home at 6, stopped by tesco express cause i really wanted food BUT i didn't wanna pay 2.25p for friggin strawberries..so i got myself a smoothie, it was the brand innocent that i wanted to try, might i say it was pretty good! so small though! Then i had naan for dinner...with no dip so that was sad...

Friday. LAZY DAY. Watched a bunch of grey's...and made yummy dinner. Skyped with my nigga/bffl !!! YAYYY. Then slept early..at 1am?

October 29

Saturday. Woke up at 2pm, after 4 hours of random door slamming from friggin allie. She got back so early..but i tried very hard to sleep through it. I headed back to the Imperial War Museum to look at the 1&2 and 3rd floor cause i went to LG and G last time. Then I went to oxford circus and just walked around this dept store..called Debenhams. Omg I liked these heels....so cute..on sale too. yums! Then headed home and made grilled peppered steak i got at Tesco last week..and an egg..which i lost half cause it cracked over my pan..onto the table FAIL. So at the museum, the first floor was just the cold war stuff and the secret army for britain or whatever, and then some of those plane models, guns, and others. The other floor was just art and I came across two that I thought was done very well. I will show you below...There is definitely a distinct odor from old objects which made me feel a bit ill so I quickly moved on and the 3rd floor was the Holocaust floor..and it gave me such a deeper look at history. They even had a huge model of where the gas chambers were, and have little figures, hundreds of them, next to a train lining up to be split up. There were lots of photos, and people dead...This wall of shoes from the past, I'm not sure if it's real but it was very lifelike and while walking around I did get very cold, not sure if they turned the AC higher in that portion or it was chilling to read about what had happened. I saw letters written and some snippets of tapes. A suitcase was on display that you can pick up and that's how heavy it was for people who had to flee. Definitely an eye opener...SPent 2 hours here today as well. So 4 hours overall for this museum.

So the paintings, oil on carvas..obviously these don't do it justice unless you are seeing it in life, but it was sooo beautiful in life...just gorgeous i was in awe.

'The Nuremberg Trial' (1946) by Dame Laura Knight
(this was a gigantic painting, bigger than me, but it was soo amazing..every character is doing their own thing... and they look so real)
