Day 6 & 7

So yesterday...I woke up mad early. My roommate had class at 830am so I like woke up at like 7 am? But I went back to sleep after she left until...930am. Then I left at 1030am to go to OAL to pass in my classes sheet so I take classes here since I came here with none. I had to run around campus to get it approved, good thing it went smoothly and I found the place. I think I'm getting used to campus, kinda. Just had to pass it in before 1pm. Had lunch at United College, we dimsum. Got xia long bao (so bad this pinyin) ha gao, shu mai, and the lotus rice in bamboo leaf and egg tarts. Came out to be 36HKD$ per person, it was Andy, Ian, Cheston and ..another white guy LOL. Then Cathy came AFTER we ate, so she got takeout since she had class at 130pm. I had class too...but I wanted to do laundry.

Andy and I visited Ian's dorm which is next to United College and met his roommate. FAIL. No directions on where to put the detergent and softener. So I just pour some detergent in the first two box thingys and softener in the last one. Then I went to dry my clothes and came back 45 mins later..and they were still soaked but hot, and I ended up sticking it in the bigger dryers and just sat there for 30 mins because I was too lazy to go back up to i-house again because i already went up and down a couple times since I forgot my card. Finally it dried. THEN I found out Andy and peoples already went to Shatin, and I didn't have my phone with me so I didn't know they left until I went to my room. So I walked up to United College and hopped on a bus to University Station and went on the train and met up with them (Andy, Jean and Bonnie) and ate at Spaghetti 360. I got the Spaghetti Carbonara, Bonnie got the Ox thing in a clay pot, Jean got Spaghetti and Andy got pizza with mushroom..and stuff.

Then we walked around the mall and I got bread at the grocery store, which I ate it all last night and this morning for "breakfast". Mad good, soo soffttt! "Milk Bread". I came back to i-house around 10 and got ready for bed. Slept at 12am. FINALLY decided to go to a class, since classes started Monday but I haven't gone to any. So I missed two classes so far...

Jan 13 @ 2pm.

Woke up at 830am. Class at 930am. Guess I need to wake up earlier so I don't have to rush. Left the room at 915am. Walked to class...15 mins walk, so farrr, up hill, then down. They should just have a tunnel so I js go straight. First class ever here! I have 3 classes today. My first one was Marketing at 930 at Y.C. Liang Hall. Class is until 1215pm. FML. so long. He let us out at 12. He's mad chill. I think he's passionate about the subject, tries to make it interesting, telling us stories instead of straight from the material. We don't have to buy books for this class! Not like I was gonna anyways, cause I don't read. Mad girls, omg. Maybe like 4-5 boys?! I was like falling asleep at the end of class because i was so hungry!! Then I went to take the bus, and I saw Cathy!! Everyone I called was still in class and I was starving so I was very happy. We went to New Asia College to eat with Josh and...these two other boys that live in i-house 2nd floor. Food was pretty good, I got satay chicken with rice. $16HKD. Now I'm in i-house waiting until 330pm to meet up with Vicki to go eat sushi with other people in TST I think. Skipping my next two classes. People are still adding/dropping classes so it's okay!

Sooo, I guess it's kinda boring to read every little thing I did, but I want to be able to answer my question "what the hell did I do for 6 months?!" when I get back from here. BUT I will talk about other random stuff so hopefully it's kinda interesting, but I don't think anyone will read so it's okay.

I need to buy toilet paper ASAP. They don't give you toilet paper, I forget if I wrote about that already or if I just wrote that in an email to someone. It's so annoying to bring toilet paper to the bathroom when you're sleeping in the middle of the night. I been using my tissues, so I need more tissues. There's a grocery store in the middle of campus called "Park n Shop" and they have..everything. :) I've just been lazy to buy a big roll of toilet paper, but I will hop on that..tomorrow or tonight. We'll see. I applied for a card, like a stop n shop card so I earn points. I got snacks yesterday from there , like chips and cup noodles. Plastic bags cost money here. 50 cents. It's really cold here when I sleep, I use two blankets, but they are really light. One of them always ends up on the floor somehow because I move so much and I don't have a wall next to me. The 3rd roommate has no showed up, and my local is hoping she doesn't so we don't have a triple triple, but a double triple.  Yeah, there's not heat. I was so hoping she would have a heater, but she doesn't :( I would totally buy myself one but it's gonna get hot soon so..whatever. Some asshole was showering last night, soo long too! I was trying to sleep and all I could hear was water running since I live right next to the bathroom, you can actually hear my music in the hall. I have no clue who lives in my flat since I'm barely here and no one says hi to each other. I have like one friend here LOL and then the RA. I feel like I should watch some tv since there's a tv in the living room and no one's there..maybe when I get some homework I will.

I just set up my ethernet thing, with VPN and all that jazz. I was playing music and my roommate walks in and she's like.."do you have headphones?" I turned off my music because it's no big deal, idc. and she like  freaks out and goes "ITS OKAY!! I'm leaving anyways!!" so I was like "okay.." and turned it back on. I never play it when she's here, but when she's here I'm never here, I just come back to sleep and chill before I go out.

I haven't had dinner on campus yet and it's been a week. I'm always like off campus lol. Oh, the lecture halls are very personal and nice. The seats are so comfy so I always wanna pass out. I wore my new peacoat today, and yesterday. $40USD, 300HKD. I think I'll try to blog everyday because it's hard to recall information. But I been randomly hopping on buses and lucky me always made it to my destination even when I miss the stop, it goes back somewhere closer to where I need to go!

Yeah, so I reallyyy am loving Hong Kong and I don't want to leave because there's a lot to do, and the malls are hugantic and I get soo overwhelmed that I don't even go into stores HAHA. So gay, they play Lady Gaga EVERYWHERE, I think I'll end up hating her when I get back to america. I haven't heard any chinese music yet...just mad english at the malls. It's hard to tell how much I'm spending but prob around 30-50USD a day if I go out for dinner and random shopping for food? I have to call my mom, I bet she misses me muahahaa. My paypal skype payment hasn't cleared, I think it'll clear tonight. But it's hard to call with the time difference. I'm not like obsessed about going online like when I was in america. I'm always just chilling over here and it's not a big deal if I don't have internet. I need a purse, I used the tote bag they gave us, but I don't want people stealing my shit and my backpack, I don't want to carry it. So the search for a bag will probably continue this weekend.

Just showered. So there's a door to close if you go the toilet and then there's another door for the shower. Then another to close the bathroom altogether. I had to use another bathroom because the shower had like black liquid stains on them in the regular one that i can actually lock. So in this one I just locked my shower stall. And I came out to close the sliding door so no one comes in. I go back into my shower stall, putting clothes on and SOMEHOW my intuition was to close the shower stall door because I felt like some asshole would come in, and OF KOURSE some bitch comes. Like really, the WHOLE time I showered you couldn't come in to brush your teeth, and to think like 1 min ago I was naked putting clothes on outside...good thing I went back to my stall and closed it..

So Vicki, Mei, Raymond, Christine, Cathy, and I went for sushi at TST. My bill was 110$HDK I got like 5 orders, some special rolls and such. Of kourse pictures are on the picasa site! Then we went for dessert and I got tofu with honey and tried everyone elses. Then we went to an irish bar and I got long island iced tea. Shit wass soo biggg, I was soo full I struggled to finish. Ahh, drinking on a Wednesday LOL. My 2nd drink. The others went to the horse track, whatever I wasn't really that interested. Then we...got back to University and missed the bus and walked all the way back to i-house from station. FML. so far. and uphill. Class at 1030am tomorrow, getting up at 9am. OH and the 3rd roommate showed up...today..in mid afternoon. She goes to school from Ireland but is from Mainland China. They sleep so early! She was sleeping when I got back at like 12am. And my local was going to bed. Wow. They must hate that I always come back so late...
