I was initially going to write this during my layover in NYC, but that turned out to be a legit 5 minutes layover with me having no clue where I was suppose to go.
So going abroad to Hong Kong this past semester was one of the biggest decisions I've ever made..next to joining DYS. So basically I've only really made two big decisions because most of the time I could care less about everything. And I've gotta say, two of my biggest decisions have been the best decisions for me, personally.
I learned so much about myself this semester, going to HK knowing NO ONE. It was like starting college all over! Except it's kinda harder because I'm a "gwai mui". hahaha. But I've met some of the most amazing people I'll ever meet in my life there, and I honestly hopee we keep in touch, no matter the distance, because everyone is from EVERYWHERE. I learned about myself while i was there, personal growth was tremendous. I got to visit some of the greatest places ever, (japan, hainan, beijing, xi'an, shanghai, korea, singapore, and taiwan). I gotta confess, i didn't believe it when people said "going abroad is the best time of your life" yeah yeah,, righttt... omg they are. My last two weeks in HK was filled with my favorite people!! THANK YOU so much for coming outt/taking time to say byee! It meant a lot to me! I think I've changed for the better, somehow.... I mean i'm pretty sad to be back home.... BUT i'm looking at everything optimistically and i'm ready to get working....and do my homework, go to class when semester starts again..cause i did have an 8 month vacation..haha <3
